From Reactive to Proactive

Just four short years ago, Oopa Baby slings were created by new mom Amy Glovsky Abreu as a stylish alternative to the bland, muted baby slings she was used to seeing. The emerging brand wanted to show mothers that slings were not only a great way to stay close to your baby and practice attachment parenting, but they could also be a bold style statement that complimented her individual look and personality. Forty Weeks helped Oopa go from a great concept to a proactive brand by assisting in design, marketing, distribution and sales. Before long, the stunning fabric slings showed up on A-list celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani and Kate Hudson. Media mentions included Urban Baby, Pregnancy & Newborn, Us Weekly, Cookie, Celebrity Baby Blog and more.
