Well thanks for the shout out, Julia. I thought being a blogger and being on the computer 24/7 now made me geekier- not cooler, so I appreciate your perspective for sure! My husband's not so convinced...

I encourage you to read the scientific research behind kick counting. 50% of women who have experienced a stillbirth noted a decrease in fetal activity before they gave birth to a dead baby. If they had known that decreased fetal movement was a sign of potential problems and had a record of baby's movement patterns, their tragedy may have been avoidable. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends kick counting and kickTrak makes it easy to do so.

Mary<br/>So terribly sorry that you are having such a bad day. How very stressful for you. What's this you say - advertising, remnants, agencies -- it is all too much for a simpleton like me to take in. Maybe you can explain it to me later. In the meantime, did you see the piece on Bugaboo today on Gawker? Good stuff! J

you're no advertising genius are you? It's clear when you go to gawker that some multi-ad company bought space there. the ads that are playing are a mish-mash of random companies. It's REMNANT ad inventory that gawker sold to some random ad-serving company that runs the babystyle ad and numerous other brands all over the internet. it's embarassing that you tout yourself as a marketing pro.

I absolutely love this! Busy lives, instant response technology. We always want a second opinion, and the sales person really doesn't count. No friends to call right now? How about your baby blogger friends? I can see this tech concept really taking off and promoting a global mom village.

I (Julia) ran into Ms. Groovy herself - Chelsea Kaplan last night at dinner! I sent her and Rick (her husband, who seemed not to mind my popping by their table) dessert which took her by surprise. It was great to see her!
