You make a couple of very key points here: 1) the growing disparity between the 'haves' and the 'have nots' is becoming more dire by the day, and unless we do something about that - the gap will continue to widen. (2) Non-profits MUST think and run like non-profits in order to be successful in today's cluttered and competitive market. NFPs face the same challenges as for-profits - it's just that they're (hopefully) more altruistic! Excellent post!
