FORTY WEEKS LENDING CLOSET OPENS WITH MEDIA-FRIENDLY CUTTING EDGE TREND ITEMS FOR MOTHER & CHILD

May 2005 New York, NY-Editors, stylists, producers and photo-editors won't have to go far to see, touch and borrow the hot new looks and lines of maternity, baby fashion and other mother-child accessories, as Forty Weeks, a consulting firm specializing in the maternity and new-mother lifestyle, opens its Lending Closet in May, in New York City. This is the first media lending program of its kind to focus on the maternity and juvenile marketplace.

"Our Closet will be all about what's happening now. Carefully stocked with lines that represent the newest trends, it will feature the hippest, high-end, quality-driven brands in the mother and child market," states Julia Beck, founder of Forty Weeks. "The Lending Closet is a valuable resource for any editor, producer, stylist or producer who wants to use top fashion for a shoot or just get an inside line on the trends and the maternity lifestyle concept. We range from fashion to gear and more including strollers and diaper bags."

The Lending Closet will be open daily for media to visit or call in samples and 24 hours a day via www.fortyweeks.com. The Closet will include lines like Due and Sprout, Bloom, Meet Me in Miami, I'm Still Me, Nano, The Go Club as well as selections of cribs, strollers, personal care, diaper bags and toys.

Managing media for the Lending Closet team is Judith Lederman, a veteran public relations consultant, journalist and author. Judy's keen eye and understanding of the segment will be a great asset to all who come to hang in or borrow from the Closet.

West Coast media and account relations will be handled by Barbie Davalos who brings close to a decade of PR and influencer outreach experience to the Forty Weeks Lending Closet.
